You may be looking for your first contact with a software company, ready to spend more time working alongside a development team, or starting to think about your thesis. Each is a different stage, with a different kind of experience.

Three weeks to take your skills beyond the classroom

Our 3-week Summer Practice program gives students hands-on experience with the technologies, tools, AI, and ways of working used in a professional software environment.

You’ll work on practical technical challenges with guidance from ROPARDO developers, explore technologies relevant to today’s software projects, and see how a development team approaches everything from understanding a problem to building and testing a solution.

You’ll also experience the collaborative side of software development: asking questions, discussing different approaches, receiving feedback, and learning how individual work contributes to a team effort.

Go from learning software to working on IT

Our internships are designed for students who already have some software knowledge and are ready to put it into practice in a professional environment.

During the 3-month summer internship, you will work within a project environment alongside experienced ROPARDO colleagues. You’ll take on practical technical tasks, learn how a professional development team works, and build your skills through hands-on experience, guidance, and feedback.

Internships are paid through an employment contract, experiencing both the technical and professional side of working in software.

What makes an internship different?
  • Hands-on technical experience: Apply what you already know while developing new skills through practical work.
  • Work alongside experienced developers: Ask questions, discuss solutions, receive feedback and learn how experienced colleagues approach technical decisions. Get familiar with the tools and processes used to develop, test, review and deliver software as part of a team.
  • A possible next step: An internship gives us the chance to get to know each other. When there is a good match, an available position and the right timing, it can open the way to continuing your career at ROPARDO.

Make your thesis worth building

Choosing the right subject for your bachelor’s or master’s thesis can be difficult, especially when you want to work on something relevant, technically interesting and realistic to develop.

Through ROPARDO’s thesis co-tutoring program, one of our colleagues can help you choose or refine your subject and provide technical guidance throughout your thesis. You’ll have someone experienced to discuss your ideas with, ask questions, and turn to when you reach a technical challenge.

What thesis co-tutoring looks like

From choosing the right topic to working through technical challenges, you’ll have a colleague to guide you throughout your thesis and bring a practical software engineering perspective to your work.
Choose or refine your subject

If you already have an idea, we can help you shape it into a realistic technical project. If you're still deciding, we can explore possible subjects together based on your interests and our areas of expertise.

Get guidance along the way

An asigned colleague will guide you along the way, giving you a professional perspective on the technical questions and challenges that come up.

Make informed technical decisions

Discuss technologies, architecture and implementation approaches with someone who works with them in practice, whether your thesis explores AI and data, software engineering, cloud, IoT, digital health or another relevant area.
